DGP Visits Aalo, Engages with Police & Celebrates Children's Day as Part of Districts Tour

The Director General of Police, Anand Mohan IPS, who is currently on a tour of Leparada, West Siang, and Siang Districts, arrived in Aalo on Monday.

On Tuesday, the DGP visited the 2nd AAPBn office and held a Sampark Sabha with all District Police and 2nd AAPBn personnel.



During the meeting, the Commanding Officer of 2nd AAPBn Aalo, Dekio Gumja  provided a comprehensive overview of the District Police and 2nd AAPBn.



In his interaction with Police Officers and personnel, Mohan emphasized the importance of the police serving the public rather than simply being a force. He urged district-level officers to actively engage with the public and provide genuine service.



Furthermore, DGP unveiled plans for Operation "DON," a joint effort involving all stakeholders in the fight against illegal narcotics drugs.


Recognizing the crucial role of District Police in combating the drug menace, he stressed the urgency of enforcing NDPS laws to protect future generations from destruction.




Mohan also encouraged the identification of talents within the police force, particularly in sports and games, and urged district officers to support personnel in participating at higher levels to bring honour to both the department and the country.



The visit continued with a stop at the 2nd AAPBn School, where DGP Anand Mohan celebrated Children's Day by sharing sweets with the children and staff. He later inspected the SP Aalo office, engaged with officers and personnel from various branches, and also participated in an exciting river rafting experience at Yomgo river
