Rashtriya Raksha University, Pasighat Starts New Academic Session

The Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU)  in Pasighat launched its new academic session on September 4 with an orientation program for the new batch of students.




The event was held virtually and was attended by the Chief Patron of the University, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bimal N. Patel, along with the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, and other delegates from the Gujarat campus.




In his address, the Vice-Chancellor welcomed the new batch of students and encouraged them to hone their skills and knowledge to contribute to the field of internal security. He stressed the importance of taking a "solution-oriented approach" rather than a "paper-based approach" to solving security challenges.




He also highlighted RRU's ambition to become a global leader in the field of internal security.




The Vice-Chancellor encouraged the campuses to focus on research-based activities and to upskill the students with different foreign languages.




Following the online orientation program, an induction event was also conducted at the campus for the new batch. The Campus Director and department heads took turns familiarizing the students with the visions of the campus and their role in turning the vision into reality.




The students were also exhorted to remain motivated and to face all challenges with determination.
