AIMSU collab with APPAHMA, and DA To Raise Mental Health Awareness in Roing

The All Idu Mishmi Students Union (AIMSU), in collaboration with the District Administration of Lower Dibang Valley District and the All Arunachal Pradesh Psychological Association, organized a comprehensive mental health awareness program at the Mimi Pine (Igu Museum) Centre Auditorium in Roing.


The program covered a wide range of topics, including the importance of mental health, early signs of mental health issues, effective management and coping strategies, and the distinctions between physical and mental health.


Resource persons from the All Arunachal Pradesh Psychological Association delivered comprehensive presentations and engaged in open discussions, providing attendees with in-depth knowledge about mental health, its challenges, and strategies for maintaining emotional well-being.


SP Roing in his address brought law enforcement's perspective to the discussion.


The event witnessed a diverse gathering of participants, including students, community members, and dignitaries who actively engaged in discussions on various aspects of mental health.


The AIMSU, District Administration, and All Arunachal Pradesh Psychological Association expressed their gratitude to all participants for their active involvement and hoped that this collaborative effort will foster greater understanding and support for mental health in the community.



 Amih Lego, District Development and School Education Officer (DDSE), Lower Dibang Valley District, Manaya Mena, General Secretary of the Idu Mishmi Culture and Language Society (IMCLS) Women Wing and SP, Roing took part in the event.
